وَعَنْ تَمِيمٍ الدَّارِيِّ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " لِيَبْلُغَنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرُ مَا بَلَغَ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ ، وَلَا يَتْرُكُ اللَّهُ بَيْتَ مَدَرٍ وَلَا وَبَرٍ ، إِلَّا أَدْخَلَهُ اللَّهُ هَذَا الدِّينَ يُعَزُّ عَزِيزٌ أَوْ يُذَلُّ ذَلِيلٌ ، عِزًّا يُعِزُّ اللَّهُ بِهِ الْإِسْلَامَ وَأَهْلَهُ ، وَذُلًّا يُذِلُّ اللَّهُ بِهِ الْكُفْرَ " .
وَكَانَ تَمِيمٌ الدَّارِيُّ يَقُولُ : قَدْ عَرَفْتُ ذَلِكَ فِي أَهْلِ بَيْتِيَ ، لَقَدْ أَصَابَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ مِنْهُمُ الْخَيْرُ وَالشَّرَفُ وَالْعِزُّ ، وَلَقَدْ أَصَابَ مَنْ كَانَ مِنْهُمْ كَافِرًا الذُّلُّ وَالصَّغَارُ وَالْجِزْيَةُ . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
وَكَانَ تَمِيمٌ الدَّارِيُّ يَقُولُ : قَدْ عَرَفْتُ ذَلِكَ فِي أَهْلِ بَيْتِيَ ، لَقَدْ أَصَابَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ مِنْهُمُ الْخَيْرُ وَالشَّرَفُ وَالْعِزُّ ، وَلَقَدْ أَصَابَ مَنْ كَانَ مِنْهُمْ كَافِرًا الذُّلُّ وَالصَّغَارُ وَالْجِزْيَةُ . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Tamim al-Dari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "This religion will certainly reach wherever the night and the day reach, and Allah Almighty will bring this religion into every settlement (of mud houses) and every (tent of) hair, with the honoured receiving honour and the humbled receiving humiliation: an honour through which Allah Almighty will honour Islam and the people of Islam, and a humiliation through which Allah Almighty will humiliate disbelief." Sayyiduna Tamim al-Dari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I have seen this in my own household: whoever among them accepted Islam was granted goodness, nobility and honour, and whoever among them remained a disbeliever met with humiliation, abasement and the jizyah.
