وَعَنِ الْمُسْتَوْرِدِ الْفِهْرِيِّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " رُدُّوا الْخِيَاطَ وَالْمِخْيَاطَ . مَنْ غَلَّ مِخْيَطًا أَوْ خِيَاطًا كُلِّفَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَنْ يَجِيءَ بِهِ وَلَيْسَ بِجَاءٍ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ الدَّاهِرِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ وَقَدْ قَوَّاهُ بَعْضُ النَّاسِ فَلَمْ يُلْتَفَتْ إِلَيْهِ .

Sayyiduna al-Mustawrid al-Fihri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Hand over even the thread and the needle. Whoever embezzles a needle or a thread will be required on the Day of Resurrection to bring it, and he will not be able to bring it."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Abu Bakr Abdullah bin Hakim al-Dahiri, who is da'if (weak). Some people considered him strong, but no attention is to be paid to that.
