وَعَنْ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ عُمَرَ - وَكَانَ حَلِيفًا لِأَبِي سُفْيَانَ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ - عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ لَا يَحِلُّ لِي وَلَا لِأَحَدٍ مِنْ مَغَانِمِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ مَا يَزِنُ هَذِهِ الْوَبَرَةَ - وَأَخَذَ وَبَرَةً مِنْ غَارِبِ نَاقَتِهِ - بَعْدَ الَّذِي فَرَضَ اللَّهُ لِي " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَفِيهِ شَهْرُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Kharijah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), who was an ally of Sayyiduna Abu Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) in the Jahiliyyah, reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O people, from the spoils of war of the Muslims, not even as much as the weight of this hair is lawful for me or for anyone." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said this after taking a hair from the back of his she-camel: "beyond (that is, other than) what Allah Almighty has assigned as my share."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Shahr bin Hawshab, who is da'if (weak).
