عَنْ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ قَالَ : كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فِي غَزَاةٍ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ : " يَا مَالِكَ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ " .
قَالَ : فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ الرِّجَالَ تُصْرَعُ ، تَضْرِبُهَا الْمَلَائِكَةُ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهَا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهَا .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
قَالَ : فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ الرِّجَالَ تُصْرَعُ ، تَضْرِبُهَا الْمَلَائِكَةُ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهَا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهَا .

Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We took part in a battle with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and I heard him say: "O Master of the Day of Judgement, You alone we worship and You alone we ask for help." (The narrator says: I saw the enemy's) men being struck down, with the angels striking them from in front and from behind.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Salam bin Hashim, and he is da'if (weak).
