بَابٌ فِيمَنْ يَغْزُو بِمَالِ غَيْرِهِ .

عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتِ سَعْدٍ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : أَفْتِنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ عَمَّنْ لَمْ يَغْزُ وَأَعْطَى مَالَهُ يُغْزَى عَلَيْهِ ، فَلَهُ أَجْرٌ أَمْ لِلْمُنْطَلِقِ ؟ قَالَ : " لَهُ أَجْرُ مَالِهِ وَلِلْمُنْطَلِقِ أَجْرُ مَا احْتَسَبَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ .

Sayyidah Maymunah bint Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with her) submitted: "O Messenger of Allah, tell us about a person who does not take part in battle but gives his wealth so that the battle may be fought with the help of that wealth: will the reward go to him or to the one who goes?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He will receive the reward of his wealth, and the one who goes will receive the reward of what he hoped for in reward."
