وَعَنْ مَزِيدَةَ الْعَبْدِيِّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَقَدَ رَايَاتِ الْأَنْصَارِ فَجَعَلَهُنَّ صُفْرًا .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ اللَّيْثِ الْهَدَادِيُّ وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Mazidah al-Abdi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had small flags made for the Ansar, and he had them made yellow.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Muhammad bin al-Layth al-Hadadi, and I do not know him. The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
