وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " الْعَبْدُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ " .
وَكَتَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَبْلَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ إِلَى كِسْرَى وَقَيْصَرَ وَإِلَى كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، وَحَدِيثُهُ حَسَنٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
وَكَتَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَبْلَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ إِلَى كِسْرَى وَقَيْصَرَ وَإِلَى كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، وَحَدِيثُهُ حَسَنٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "A person will be with the one he loves." Before his passing, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wrote letters to Chosroes, Caesar and every ruler.
Ahmad recorded it, and Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Ibn Lahi'ah, whose hadith is hasan (good). The rest of Ahmad's narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
