بَابٌ فِيمَنْ قُتِلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ مُقْبِلًا وَغَيْرِ ذَلِكَ
One who is killed in the cause of Allah while facing the enemy, and other matters

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " سَبَقَ الْمَقْتُولُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ مُقْبِلًا غَيْرَ مُدْبِرٍ الْمَقْتُولَ الْمُدْبِرَ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا [ وَمَرْضَى أُمَّتِي مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِمْ بِسَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا ] ، وَالْأَنْبِيَاءَ قَبْلَ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ بِأَرْبَعِينَ خَرِيفًا لِمَا كَانَ فِيهِ مِنَ الْمُلْكِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ جُوَيْبِرٍ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ وَكِلَاهُمَا ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one killed in the path of Allah who was facing the enemy and had not turned his back precedes the one killed who had turned his back, and he will precede him to Paradise by seventy years. The sick of my ummah will precede their companions by seventy years. And the prophets will precede Sayyiduna Sulayman bin Dawud (peace be upon them both) by forty years (into Paradise), because of the kingship that was given to Sayyiduna Sulayman (peace be upon him) (in the world)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it as the narration of Juwaybir from al-Dahhak, and both of them are da'if (weak).
