Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 9489

Sayyiduna al-Abbas bin Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two kinds of eyes will not be touched by the Fire: an eye that weeps in the depth of the night out of fear of Allah, and an eye that spends the night standing guard in the path of Allah."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Uthman bin Ata' al-Khurasani, who is matruk (abandoned), though Duhaym declared him thiqah (trustworthy).
