Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 9357

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) trained horses and then held a race between them. He saw me riding a camel and said: "O Jabir, you keep putting it to hardship." What the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) meant was: You keep beating it.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin Sulayman bin Mashmul, who is da'if (weak).
