وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنِ ارْتَبَطَ فَرَسًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَعَلَفُهُ وَأَثَرُهُ فِي مِيزَانِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَفِيهِ الْحَارِثُ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever keeps a horse tethered in the way of Allah, its fodder and its trace (that is, its hoofprints) will be in his scale on the Day of Resurrection."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, al-Harith, who is da'if (weak).
