Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Goodness has been tied to the forelock of the horse until the Day of Resurrection, and the example of one who spends on a horse is like one who holds (something) in his hand to give in charity." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
This narration is mentioned in the "Sahih" in abridged form: "The charity of spending."
Imam Abu Ya'la and Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
