بَابٌ فِيمَنْ بَدَا بَعْدَ الْهِجْرَةِ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنٍ وَلَا سَبَبٍ
One who returns to desert life after emigrating without permission or reason
Majma al-Zawaid 9295 — One who returns to desert life after emigrating
وَعَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ قَالَ : أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَ : " أَنْتُمْ بَدْوُنَا وَنَحْنُ أَهْلُ حَضَرِكُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Salamah bin al-Akwa' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said: "You are our desert-dwellers, and we are your town-dwellers."
