بَابٌ فِيمَنْ أَقَامَ الدِّينَ فِي غَيْرِ أَرْضِ اللَّهِ الَّتِي هَاجَرَ إِلَيْهَا حَيْثُ كَانَ
One who establishes the religion wherever he is, in a land other than the land of Allah to which he emigrated

عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّهُمْ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّهُ لَيْسَ لَنَا أَجْرٌ بِمَكَّةَ ؟ فَقَالَ : " لَتَأْتِينَّكُمْ أُجُورُكُمْ وَلَوْ كُنْتُمْ فِي جُحْرِ ثَعْلَبٍ " . قَالَ : فَأَصْغَى إِلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ فِي أَصْحَابِي مُنَافِقِينَ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَأَبُو يَعْلَى وَفِيهِ رَجُلٌ لَمْ يُسَمَّ .

Sayyiduna Jubayr bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I said: "O Messenger of Allah! People say that there is no reward for us in Makkah." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Your rewards will surely reach you, even if you are in a fox's hole." The narrator says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) leaned his head towards me and said: "Among my companions there are some hypocrites."
