Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 917

Al-A'mash narrates: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) passed by a man who was admonishing and advising some people, and Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O you who give advice! Do not make people despair!"
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, but al-A'mash did not live in the time of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him).
