Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 909

Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Iyad (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Storytellers will be of three kinds: a ruler, or one appointed, or an arrogant person."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains the narrator Abdullah bin Yahya al-Iskandarani, and I have not seen anyone give his biography.
