Majma al-Zawaid 9059 — The ruler who is weak in upholding the truth
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " الْإِمَامُ الضَّعِيفُ مَلْعُونٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَسَقَطَ مِنْ إِسْنَادِهِ رَجُلٌ بَيْنَ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ وَبَيْنَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، وَفِيهِ جَمَاعَةٌ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَسَقَطَ مِنْ إِسْنَادِهِ رَجُلٌ بَيْنَ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ وَبَيْنَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، وَفِيهِ جَمَاعَةٌ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A weak ruler is accursed."
Tabarani recorded it; in its chain a man between Abd al-Karim bin al-Harith and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) has dropped out, and its chain contains a group of narrators whom I do not know.
