عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " كُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ وَكُلٌّ مَسْؤُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ ، فَالْأَمِيرُ رَاعٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَمَسْؤُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ ، وَالرَّجُلُ رَاعٍ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ وَهُوَ مَسْؤُولٌ عَنْ زَوْجَتِهِ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ يَمِينُهُ ، وَالْمَرْأَةُ رَاعِيَةٌ لِزَوْجِهَا وَمَسْؤُولَةٌ عَنْ بَيْتِهَا وَوَلَدِهَا ، وَالْمَمْلُوكُ رَاعٍ عَلَى مَوْلَاهِ وَمَسْؤُولٌ عَنْ مَالِهِ ، وَكُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْؤُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ ، فَأَعِدُّوا لِلْمَسَائِلِ جَوَابًا " .
قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا جَوَابُهَا ؟ قَالَ : " أَعْمَالُ الْبِرِّ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ بِإِسْنَادَيْنِ ، وَأَحَدُ إِسْنَادَيِ الْأَوْسَطِ رِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا جَوَابُهَا ؟ قَالَ : " أَعْمَالُ الْبِرِّ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ بِإِسْنَادَيْنِ ، وَأَحَدُ إِسْنَادَيِ الْأَوْسَطِ رِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every one of you is a guardian, and every person will be called to account for his charge. The amir (that is, the ruler) is a guardian over the people, and he will be called to account for his charge. A man is the guardian of his household, and he will be called to account for his wife and for those under his ownership. A woman is a guardian on behalf of her husband, and she will be called to account for his house and his children. A slave is a guardian on behalf of his master, and he will be called to account for his wealth. Every one of you is a guardian, and every one of you will be called to account for his charge, so prepare an answer for the reckoning." The people said: O Messenger of Allah! What is its answer? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Deeds of righteousness."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat with two chains; the narrators of one of the two chains of al-Mu'jam al-Awsat are the narrators of the Sahih.
