بَابُ زِينَةِ النِّسَاءِ وَاخْتِصَاصِهِنَّ بِالْحِنَّاءِ .

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : دَخَلَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - نِسْوَةٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ : " يَا نِسَاءَ الْأَنْصَارِ ، اخْتَضِبْنَ غَمْسًا ، وَاخْفِضْنَ وَلَا تَنْهِكْنَ ، فَإِنَّهُ أَحْظَى عِنْدَ أَزْوَاجِكُنَّ ، وَإِيَّاكُنَّ وَكُفْرَ الْمُنْعِمِينَ " .
قَالَ مَنْدَلٌ : يَعْنِي الزَّوْجَ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْدَلُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .

رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْدَلُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Some women of the Ansar came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O women of the Ansar, apply khidab by dipping (that is, apply henna to the whole hand), and when circumcising (girls) do not go to excess, for that is more pleasing to your husbands; and beware of being ungrateful to those who bestow favours on you (that is, your husbands)." The narrator Mandal says: By this the husbands are meant.
Imam Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains Mandal bin Ali, who is da'if (weak), though he has been declared trustworthy, and the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
