A woman who had prayed towards both qiblahs behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to my house and said: "Apply khidab (that is, henna on your hands). One of you (women) abandons khidab (that is, applying henna) until her hand becomes like the hand of a man." The narrator says: So that woman never abandoned khidab (that is, applying henna), even when she had reached the age of eighty.
Imam Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains narrators whom I do not know, and Ibn Ishaq, who is mudallis.
