وَعَنْ لَمِيسَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ قُلْتُ لَهَا : الْمَرْأَةُ تَصْنَعُ الدُّهْنَ تَتَحَبَّبُ إِلَى زَوْجِهَا ؟ فَقَالَتْ : أَمِيطِي عَنْكِ تِلْكَ الَّتِي لَا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهَا .
[ قَالَتْ ] :وَقَالَتِ امْرَأَةٌ لِعَائِشَةَ : يَا أُمَّهُ فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ : إِنِّي لَسْتُ بِأُمِّكُنَّ وَلَكِنِّي أُخْتُكُنَّ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَفِيهِ جَابِرٌ الْجُعْفِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ جِدًّا ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ ، وَلَمِيسُ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهَا .

A woman named Lamis narrates: I asked Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her). I said to her: "A woman keeps oil so as to show love to her husband?" She said: "Remove from yourself that thing towards which Allah Almighty will not look with mercy." A woman said to Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her): "O mother!" Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "I am not the mother of you women; rather, I am your sister."
Imam Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains Jabir al-Ju'fi, who is extremely da'if (weak), though he has been declared trustworthy; and I do not know the woman named Lamis.
