Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8859

Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) noticed a man whose moustache was long. He said: "Bring a cutting instrument and a miswak." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) placed the miswak at the edge of his lip and then cut the hair that extended beyond it.
Al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Rahman bin Mushir, the judge of Jabal, who is a kadhdhab (liar).
