عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي غِفَارٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنْ لَمْ يَحْلِقْ عَانَتَهُ ، وَيُقَلِّمْ أَظَافِرَهُ ، وَيَجُزَّ شَارِبَهُ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، وَحَدِيثُهُ حَسَنٌ وَفِيهِ ضَعْفٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .

A man from Banu Ghifar reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever does not remove his pubic hair, clip his nails and trim his moustache short is not one of us."
Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah, whose hadith is hasan (good) though there is weakness in it; its remaining narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
