وَعَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّهُ رَأَى الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - مَا يَضْرِبُ شَعْرُهُ مَنْكِبَيْهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مُحْتَسِبٌ أَبُو عَائِذٍ ، وَهُوَ لَيِّنٌ ، وَشَيْخُهُ شُجَاعٌ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .

A narrator named Abd al-Rahman narrates that he saw Sayyiduna al-Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both), and his hair did not reach his shoulders.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Muhtasib Abu A'idh, who is layyin (soft, weak), and his teacher Shuja', whom I do not know; the remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
