Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8835

Abu Ma'mar narrates: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) had two plaits of braided hair; his appearance was like that of the people of the Jahiliyyah (the simple folk of that time), and his shins were thin.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Dhubab, whom I do not know; the remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
