وَعَنْ عُثْمَانَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - نَهَى عَنِ الْحَرِيرِ إِلَّا قَدْرَ إِصْبَعَيْنِ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade silk, except for the width of two fingers.
