وَعَنْ جُوَيْرِيَةَ قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ لَبِسَ ثَوْبَ حَرِيرٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا أَلْبَسَهُ اللَّهُ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - يَوْمًا - أَوْ ثَوْبًا - مِنَ النَّارِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
Sayyidah Juwayriyah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever wears a garment of silk in this world, Allah Almighty will one day clothe him in a garment made of fire" (the narrator is unsure; perhaps the words are:) "Allah Almighty will clothe him in a garment of fire on the Day of Resurrection."
