Majma al-Zawaid 8632 — No one should walk in one sandal or one leather

Sayyiduna Shaddad bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the strap of someone's sandal breaks, he should not walk wearing one sandal."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Kharijah bin Mus'ab, who is matruk (abandoned).
