Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8571

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: I saw Sayyiduna Jibril (peace be upon him); he was wearing a red turban, and he had let it hang down between his two shoulders.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Shahr bin Hawshab; the hadith he narrates is hasan (good), though he has been declared da'if (weak). The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
