وَعَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " بَيْنَا رَجُلٌ فِيمَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ خَرَجَ فِي بُرْدَيْنِ فَاخْتَالَ فِيهِمَا ، فَأَمَرَ اللَّهُ الْأَرْضَ فَأَخَذَتْهُ ، فَهُوَ يَتَجَلْجَلُ فِيهَا إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ النُّمَيْرِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَقَدْ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَقَالَ : يُخْطِئُ .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ النُّمَيْرِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَقَدْ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَقَالَ : يُخْطِئُ .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In the times before you, a man went out wearing two cloaks and was arrogant in them. Allah Almighty commanded the earth, the earth seized him, and he will keep sinking into the earth until the Day of Resurrection."
Abu Ya'la recorded it. Its chain contains Ziyad bin Abdullah al-Numayri, who is da'if (weak); Ibn Hibban declared him thiqah (trustworthy) and said: He makes mistakes.
