وَعَنْ هُبَيْبِ بْنِ مُغْفِلٍ أَنَّهُ رَأَى مُحَمَّدًا الْقُرَشِيَّ قَامَ فَجَرَّ إِزَارَهُ فَقَالَ هُبَيْبٌ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " مَنْ وَطِئَهُ خُيَلَاءَ وَطِئَهُ فِي النَّارِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، خَلَا أَسْلَمَ أَبَا عِمْرَانَ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، خَلَا أَسْلَمَ أَبَا عِمْرَانَ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
It is reported about Sayyiduna Hubayb bin Mughfil (may Allah be pleased with him) that he saw Muhammad al-Qurashi stand up with his lower garment dragging, and Sayyiduna Hubayb (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever treads on it out of arrogance will tread on it in the Fire."
