عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " أَشَدُّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ رَجُلٌ قَتَلَ نَبِيًّا أَوْ قَتَلَهُ نَبِيٌّ ، أَوْ رَجُلٌ يُضِلُّ النَّاسَ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ ، أَوْ مُصَوِّرٌ يُصَوِّرُ التَّمَاثِيلَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْهُ قِصَّةُ الْمُصَوِّرِ ، وَفِيهِ الْحَارِثُ الْأَعْوَرُ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْهُ قِصَّةُ الْمُصَوِّرِ ، وَفِيهِ الْحَارِثُ الْأَعْوَرُ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The most severely punished person on the Day of Resurrection will be the one who killed a prophet or was killed by a prophet, and the person who leads people astray without knowledge, and the image-maker who makes images (they too will receive the most severe punishment)."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. In the Sahih, only the mention of the image-maker from it is found. Its chain contains al-Harith al-A'war, who is da'if (weak).
