وَعَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ كَانَ يَتَّزِرُ عَلَى نِصْفِ السَّاقِ وَقَالَ : هَكَذَا إِزْرَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ مُوسَى بْنُ عُبَيْدَةَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Salamah bin al-Akwa' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) used to tie his waist-wrapper to the middle of the shin, and he would say: "The waist-wrapper of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was also like this."
