عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " الْإِزَارُ إِلَى نِصْفِ السَّاقِ أَوْ إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ لَا خَيْرَ فِي أَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The waist-wrapper (izar) is to the middle of the shin or to the ankles; there is no good in what is lower than that."
