Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I was sitting with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at al-Baqi', that is, Baqi' al-Gharqad. It was a rainy day. A woman passed by riding a donkey, and with her was a hired donkey-driver. When she reached a hollow in the ground, she fell. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) turned his face away from her. The people said: "O Messenger of Allah! She is wearing trousers." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah, forgive the women of my Ummah who wear trousers."
Al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains Ibrahim bin Zakariyya al-Mu'allim, who is extremely da'if (weak).
