Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8501

Abu Abd al-Salam narrates: I asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): "How did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) tie his turban?" He said: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would wind the coils of his turban around his head, then tuck it in at the back and let it hang between his shoulders."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Abu Abd al-Salam, who is thiqah (trustworthy).
