Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 85

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The people said: "O Messenger of Allah! What is your view about this: sometimes one of us gets such a thought that if he were to fall from the sky and be torn to pieces, that would be dearer to that person than speaking about this thought?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That is pure faith."
Abu Ya'la recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Yazid bin Aban al-Raqashi.
