وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " إِنَّ مِنْ أُمَّتِي مَنْ يَأْتِي السُّوقَ فَيَبْتَاعُ الْقَمِيصَ بِنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ أَوْ ثُلْثِ دِينَارٍ فَيَحْمَدُ اللَّهَ إِذَا لَبِسَهُ فَلَا يَبْلُغُ رُكْبَتَيْهِ حَتَّى يُغْفَرَ لَهُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَفِيهِ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A person from my Ummah will come to the market and buy a shirt for half a dinar or a third of a dinar, then praise Allah Almighty while putting it on, and the shirt will not yet have reached his knees before he is forgiven."
