وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " رُبَّ مُعَلِّمِ [ حُرُوفِ ] أَبِي جَادٍ دَارِسٌ فِي النُّجُومِ لَيْسَ لَهُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ خَلَاقٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعُمَرِيُّ ، وَهُوَ كَذَّابٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Many a teacher of the letters of Abjad who studies the stars will have no share with Allah Almighty on the Day of Resurrection."
