وَعَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ قَالَ : خَرَجْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ فَالْتَفَتَ إِلَيْهَا فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ بَرَّأَ هَذِهِ الْجَزِيرَةَ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ " .
Sayyiduna Abbas bin Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I set out from Madinah with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) turned and looked back towards Madinah and said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty has freed this peninsula from shirk (associating partners with Allah)."
