وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - :
" لَا عَدْوَى " .
فَقَالَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، فَإِنَّا نَأْخُذُ الشَّاةَ الْجَرِبَةَ فَنَطْرَحُهَا فِي الْغَنَمِ فَتَجْرَبُ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " يَا أَعْرَابِيُّ مَنْ أَجْرَبَ الْأُولَى ؟ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ بِأَسَانِيدَ ، وَرِجَالُ بَعْضِهَا رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no significance to the contagion (of disease)." A Bedouin said: "O Messenger of Allah! Sometimes we take a mangy goat and leave it among the goats, and then all the goats become mangy." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "O Bedouin! Who gave mange to the first one?"
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it with several chains, and the narrators of some of them are the narrators of the Sahih.
