وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ :
" مَا مَرَرْتُ بِسَمَاءٍ مِنَ السَّمَاوَاتِ إِلَّا قَالَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ : يَا مُحَمَّدُ مُرْ أُمَّتَكَ بِالْحِجَامَةِ وَالْكُسْتِ وَالشُّونِيزِ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ عَطَّافُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ ، وَتُكُلِّمَ فِيهِ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "(On the night of the Mi'raj) whichever heaven I passed through, the angels said the same: O Muhammad! Instruct your Ummah to have cupping done, to use costus (qust, a herb), and to use shuniz (black seed)."
Al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains Attaf bin Khalid, who is thiqah (trustworthy), though he has been criticised.
