Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8314

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "If there is a cure in anything among your medicines (i.e. methods of treatment), then it is in cupping." (The narrator says:) I think the report also contains these words: "or in licking honey."
Al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains Muhammad bin As'ad al-Taghlibi, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy) and Abu Zur'ah called da'if (weak). Its remaining narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
