Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8281

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) relates: A man said: O Messenger of Allah! Does medicine benefit against what has been written in the divine decree? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Medicine too is part of the decree, and it gives cure by the permission of Allah."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Salih bin Bashir al-Murri, who is da'if (weak).
