Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8260

Sayyiduna Nawfal bin Mu'awiyah al-Dili (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) take three breaths while drinking; he mentioned the name of Allah at the beginning of it (the drinking) and praised Allah Almighty at its end.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Shibl bin al-Ala', and he is da'if (weak).
