بَابُ اخْتِنَاثِ الْأَسْقِيَةِ ، وَالشُّرْبِ مِنَ الْإِدَاوَةِ ، وَثُلْمَةِ الْقَدَحِ .

وَعَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - نَهَى أَنْ يُنْفَخَ فِي الشَّرَابِ ، وَأَنْ يُشْرَبَ مِنْ ثُلْمَةِ الْقَدَحِ [ أَوْ أُذُنِهِ ] .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الْمُهَيْمِنِ بْنُ عَبَّاسِ بْنِ سَهْلٍ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade blowing into a drink, or drinking from the chipped (or broken) part of a cup, or from its handle.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration. Its chain contains Abd al-Muhaymin bin Abbas bin Sahl, and he is da'if (weak).
