وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ شَرِبَ فِي إِنَاءِ ذَهَبٍ أَوْ إِنَاءٍ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ فَإِنَّمَا يُجَرْجِرُ فِي بَطْنِهِ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ بَرْدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ ضَعَّفَهُ أَحْمَدُ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever drinks from a vessel of gold or a vessel of silver is only pouring the fire of Hell into his belly."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains al-Ala' bin Burd bin Sinan, whom Imam Ahmad declared da'if (weak).
