Book of Drinks
بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي الْخَمْرِ وَمَنْ يَشْرَبُهَا .

وَعَنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " لَا يَشْرَبُ الْخَمْرَ حِينَ يَشْرَبُهَا وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ ، وَلَا يَزْنِي حِينَ يَزْنِي وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ " .
فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ وَهُوَ مَذْكُورٌ فِي الْإِيمَانِ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ خَلَا مُدْرِكِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ وَهُوَ مَذْكُورٌ فِي الْإِيمَانِ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ خَلَا مُدْرِكِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The drinker of wine is not a believer while he is drinking it, and the fornicator is not a believer while he is committing fornication." After this, the narrator mentioned the full hadith, which has already been mentioned in the Book of Faith (Kitab al-Iman).
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for the narrator Mudrik bin Umarah, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).
