بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي الْخَمْرِ وَمَنْ يَشْرَبُهَا .

وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " شَارِبُ الْخَمْرِ كَعَابِدِ وَثَنٍ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ فِطْرُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ، وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ لَا يَضُرُّ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The one who drinks wine is like one who worships an idol."
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Fitr bin Khalifah, and he is thiqah (trustworthy); some criticism has been made of him which is not harmful.
