Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8172

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Wine is the root of all evils and the greatest of the major sins. Whoever drinks it may commit fornication with his mother, or with his maternal aunt, or with his paternal aunt."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Karim Abu Umayyah, and he is da'if (weak).
